Fantasy Horse Racing League

Running Aces will be holding a Fantasy horse racing league that is free to play for 60 people where they can win their share of $1,000.

The point earnings at Running Aces for those 4 horses during the contest period will be tracked and the total points of all 4 horses combined will be the “score” for that fantasy player. Points are awarded as follows: a win = 9 points, a second = 5 points, a third = 3 points.

The Fantasy Contest standings will be updated every week with standings published on the contest FB group page, our Announcer’s FB feed, as well as on our Live Racing Broadcast.

The top 4 Fantasy Stables at the end of the contest period by total points will be awarded the prize money from the prize pool, with an award ceremony in the winner’s circle.

From 10:00am Sunday, June 7, through 10:00pm Wednesday, June 10 the first 60 people that sign up for the league will be entered into the contest. Guests will email FantasyHorseRacing@RunAces.com their Name, Date of Birth, Address, Phone number and Aces Rewards number between that time period to be entered into the contest. Once the contest is full, guests will be notified by email if they are in the promotion or if it is already full.

June 7, 2025 at 10:00am Guests can start signing up. (Any email received before 10:00am will not be allowed).
June 10, 2025 at 10:00pm Contest registration closes. A limit of 60 participants will be allowed.
June 11 at 10:00am Submission of Fantasy Horse selections starts
June 13 at 10:00pm Submission of Fantasy Horse selections ends
June 14 through August 30, 2026 Contest period
July 24, 2026 at 10:00am through July 25, 2026 at 10:00pm Trade period

TRADE PERIOD: Friday July 24 & Saturday July 25 (starts at 10 am Fri July 24 and ends at 10 pm Sat July 25)

There will be ONE “Regular” Trade period when fantasy players, should they wish to do so, may trade or swap out up to 2 horses from their fantasy stable and select new ones.

During the “trade period” (10 am on July 24 to 10:00 pm on July 25) Fantasy players may “swap-out” or “trade” up to two of their fantasy horses and select a different horse that is racing at Running Aces to take its place. This is optional, players are not required to make a trade. Trades are made by emai to FantasyRacing@runaces.com

After the trade period, the earnings for the new horse(s) selected will be used for the scoring for the rest of the contest period, and the earnings from any horse(s) that were traded out will no longer be counted in that player’s score.

NEW FOR 2026 – ACE UP YOUR SLEEVE “Special” Trade Option

Players will have ONE EXTRA Trade Opportunity which they may use at ANY TIME during the contest period. To use the “Ace Up Your Sleeve” extra trade option, players must email their desired trade information to FantasyRacing@runaces.com at least 24 hours before the next race day. This trade option allows the player to swap out ONE HORSE for the rest of the contest period. This is also optional, players are not required to make a trade.

The Final Standings Top 4 – will be made up of the top 4 stables at the end of the contest period by total “score” which is the same as the total combined points at Running Aces for the 4 horses in each player’s fantasy stable. Points are awarded for top-3 finishes, 9 points for a win, 5 points for a second and 3 points for a third. Prizes are paid out to the top 4 stables.

The Prize pool is $1,000 which is sponsored jointly by Running Aces and MHRI. Prizes to be paid out on Sunday, September 6 during racing.

Prizes:
1st Place – $500 cash
2nd Place – $275 cash
3rd Place – $125 cash
4th Place – $100 cash

Ties/Tiebreaker: Should there be a tie for any position in the final standings, the fantasy stable with the most wins throughout the season will win the higher prize. Should the tied players also have the same amount of wins then the prizes shall be split evenly.
